Some of the best romantic scenic drives are the officially designated state and federal Scenic byways in Oregon. There are dozens covering every regional area of the state from wild outback areas, winding mountain roads, farmlands, river gorges and of course the Oregon Coast. One of my favorite romantic scenic drives is the Historic Columbia River Highway leading from Troutdale to The Dallas in the Columbia Rive Gorge. It is beautiful anytime of year.
