My nephew visited us recently and was surprised to see we had a little two slice toaster in our kitchen. I guess I hadn’t really thought about it. Honestly we’ve had the toaster for so long I just hadn’t realized how outdated it had become.  Of course It was fine when we first got married, but for our growing family it’s not very practical anymore. And it’s looking a bit battered and worn too. So I started looking at new toasters, trying to decide whether I simply wanted a four slice toaster or perhaps a toaster oven. I finally decided to splurge and get this Oster Stainless Steel 6 Slice Convection Toaster Oven for our kitchen.

First of all I love the stainless steel finish on this Oster Toaster Oven and it looks great with the other appliances in my kitchen. I really like that you can bake pizzas inside it since my kids eat a lot of pizza during the week. You can easily toast 6 slices of bread or bagels inside, no more bagels getting stuck in the toaster slots for us. It also has some wonderful timer features and a nonstick interior that’s really easy to clean. That’s a must for anyone with kids!
